2019 End of the Year Survey

Hi! Remember me? It’s been a few weeks… I never intended to take a little hiatus but it was needed more than I realized.

To get back into the swing of things I thought I’d reflect on last year, the year I started blogging, by completing The Perpetual Page-Turner’s annual End of the Year Survey. I see it float around every year and I’m excited to finally have an outlet where I can fill it out.

Note: The survey is for books read throughout the year, no matter when they were published, and is not limited to just books that came out in 2019!

Best book you read in 2019?

Don’t make me choose between You’d Be Mine (review) and More than Maybe – both by Erin Hahn. The latter comes out this year but once I had an ARC in my hands there wasn’t anything anybody could do to keep me from reading it.

Monthly Wrap Up: November 2019

Is November really over already? Like, are you sure? This wrap up has to be going up way too soon because I swear the month just started.

I’d still love to get back to reading fifteen books a month but if I’m going to be in the single digits I would at least like to read mostly good things. Here are the ones that were four or five stars:

A Brief Glimpse into My Life and an Explanation on Where I’ve Been

You’ve Probably noticed that I haven’t been around as much. Usually I have a post go up every day but there have been several days mixed in without any content. And when I do have something for you it’s been a guest post or short original content.

There’s a reason for that.

Celebrating Sweater Weather with the Autumn Tag

I don’t think anybody is more ready than I am for cool autumn days where I can curl up in my favorite sweater with a hot pumpkin spice latte. Those are the days I live for. The days that feed my soul. The days that I anxiously await every year.

They haven’t quite arrived yet in my part of the world but they are getting close! To celebrate I’ll be completing The Autumn Tag that was created by Jenn from Jenniely!

Hot chocolate – what is your comfort book?

I feel like I kind of have a lot of comfort books – Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte, If I Stay by Gayle Forman, Confess by Colleen Hoover, Harry Potter. On any given day I can hug one of these books to my heart and feel warm fuzzy feelings.
