Back in November, Lauren from Lala’s Book Reviews nominated me for the Blogger Recognition award! I’m incredibly honored that she thought to include me in this.

In the beginning…

I’ve been a part of the book community on Twitter since 2014ish. I don’t entirely know how I started getting involved – but I did. That same year I also started bookstagramming. So many of the people I interacted with had blogs, but I had tried that a couple times already and it just wasn’t for me – so I stuck with Twitter and Instagram.

The Mystery Blogger Award is an award for amazing bloggers with ingenious posts. Their blog not only captivates; it inspires and motivates. They are one of the best out there, and they deserve every recognition they get. This award is also for bloggers who find fun and inspiration in blogging; and they do it with so much love and passion.

How does it work?

• Put the award logo/image on your blog.
• List the rules.
• Thank whoever nominated you and provide a link to their blog.
• Mention the creator of the award and provide a link as well.
• Tell your readers 3 things about yourself.

Inside and Out Book Tag

Did I do a book tag just a few days ago? Yes, yes I did. But you know what? This is a busy week and I didn’t prepare my blog ahead of time like I should have so we’re doing another one!

Thank you to Grey from Use Your Words for tagging me in this! I tried to research who originally created the tag but I was unable to figure it out. The Book Snob Tag

I like to think I’m not a book snob but in reality y’all probably think I am. And I’m okay with that. I like what I like *shrug emoji* Grey from Use Your Words was a darling and tagged me in this and it was originally created by tia and all the books on YouTube!

Adaptation Snob: Do you always read the book before you see the movie?

I used to be a hardcore READ THE BOOK BEFORE THE MOVIE person but now like who has time for that? Really I don’t even watch that many movies or tv shows so it usually isn’t an issue. Right now I’d say I mostly read them after I see the adaptation.
